Yo thank you for this 🙏🏽, i’m about 1/3 through the article and really appreciate your examples and clarity. Reverb has always been a very elusive thing for me. And I really enjoy to hear how it impacts the vibe and emotion of a track. I’ve been recently learning how to appreciate space, physical space that is, and how that impacts sound and instruments. I’m currently exploring using a speaker to play stems from my session to capture the physical sound of my room and sort of blend that into the mix, if you have any tips on this sort of workflow? I’m also all ears and would love to read the article.
I'm just seeing the videos on this, super helpful especially the vocal test and using the two types of reverb! I'm in Logic Pro, I need to figure out how the settings relate to the MPC reverb your using, but that out put with control had a crazy impact on the effect and the two of them together, wow, it really did create that 3D effect I'd read about but never really saw how you use it in a practical way. Super helpful.
I will be forever grateful when you start doing that! There’s not enough good logic pro tutorials out there honestly. And it’s a hell of a program very powerful. The new stem splitting feature is pretty cool. The reverb I’m using and logic pro is there space designer, i’m really excited to learn more about reverb as I like the idea of being able to imagine the physical space that the music takes place in and that being a way to shape the sound. I need to check out that class you mentioned on http://mastering.com as well. If you have any other recommendations, I’m all ears, The next thing I’m thinking about getting is RX standard 12 to help clean up my vocals— if you have any opinions on this, I’m happy to hear your thoughts.

One of these days I’ll get a new laptop and install logic… that way I can show tuts on that too.
