My Triton has 96mb of sample memory and does all that beat chopping fun stuff that an MPC can do and you get those on ebay for cheap. But damn, if I had Elon money an MPC XL is a good replacement for a DAW.
For real. I like the challenge of doing more with less. Are you Logic or protools or FL studio? I'm still a reason fanboy but mostly use hardware. I like knobs.
Im strictrly hardware at this point, kindof with a caveat. I record vst's into my Akai force.. But otherwise im strictly standalone now... The limitations are more inspiring.
